- Meet The Team
Hi my name is Terri Everett. The Story of the Dream Maker was built from a real life experience that my husband Jim and I lived from the day we met. The dream to travel the world and cherish every moment that life had given us.
I came to New Zealand on my honeymoon from England in 1994. My husband and I spent two months in Marahau, the last small town at the gate way to the Abel Tasman National Park.
We really felt connected to The Abel Tasman and returned a few years later to bring up our two boys and set up our life in New Zealand. I have been involved in tourism and the wedding industry ever since, specialising in boutique events on our fabulous beaches and in our beautiful National Parks. I work hand in hand with many other passionate providers, we all bring our experience and expertise together to ensure our visitors dreams become their reality.
In August 2013 New Zealand policy changes to allow same sex couples the chance to legally wed in New Zealand. All providers associated with The Dream Maker guarantee to provide an all round service to suit the needs of each individual.
As operators of Sealimousines and the Dream Maker we are conscious of the environment that we work in and in doing so we make sure we support the Department of Conservation and the Bird Song Trust. To run a commercial business in the National Park we hold a NM-30483-SSE concession permit. We ask all customers using the park to give a donation to the Bird Song Trust which helps conserve the native bird life.
