ECO-WEDDING CONCERNS

Eco-Wedding Concerns

My promise is to encourage all my customers to avoid any materials that can harm our environment and wild life. Balloons for example are a real issue. Of course we all love them and argumentatively they are made of a perishable rubber but its the time between it being released and breaking down where it does the most harm.

Plastic bottles pose another risk, not only the bottle but the plastic rings that keep the lid in place. I will offer alternative ideas in providing water at a wedding to avoid us having to throw them away. If however bottles are used we go through the process of cutting these rings off.

Plastic bags and cling wrap, again avoided at all costs and we encourage caterers to find alternative ways to keep food fresh. When we simply can not avoid them, we always advise that the plastic is knotted to help avid it being blown away, landing in water and looking like a jelly fish.

Glitter, again another terribly damaging item, that people love at weddings but we must stop buying and using.

When you hold a Dream Maker wedding, you know your conscience is clear, not just because that’s our promise but because thats your style, the beauty of nature.
