THE STORY
Covid 19 certainly disrupted many couples plans and Mitchell and Tina was no exception. Tina is from the UK and met Mitchell at a New Years Concert in the Tasman region, while she visited New Zealand. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they we’re going to be inseparable. Wedding plans were in motion and family from the UK, were booking their tickets, as Covid 19 first hit the news. No one had any idea the enormity of the problem in the early days but sadly it became apparent that their plans were going to have to be cancelled.
Tina and Mitchell had great news that Tina was pregnant and it was decided that a micro wedding would be the answer and the opportunity for them to have a ready made micro event at a local beauty spot was just the ticket. A videographer was booked to capture the beautiful sandy beach ceremony, so everyone back in England could enjoy their day too. Mitchells Mum and step father also joined them and I arrange for Tina’s parents to join us during the cake cutting via Zoom. What a room full of emotion. Tina and Mitchell are vegan so I was set the challenge to create a vegan feast and was delighted to get rave reviews. Congratulations Tin and Mitchell, you were a delight to help and I wish you every success with the future.

GROOMS MUM & STEP DAD’S REVIEW
Its just over a month since this very special day of the wedding of my son Mitchell to his most beautiful bride Tina. My heart is still singing and the memories that my husband and I shared with them both as their witnesses and with Terri and her amazing team will be in our hearts forever. Right from the very beginning this amazing package was put into life with a passion from Terri to make everything just right for what Mitchell and Tina felt comfortable and happy with. So perfect all the big and small details. Nothing was a problem and even at the last minute after rain for weeks and organizing a 'Plan B' just in case the rain didn't clear, everything smoothly went to back to 'Plan A' for the romantic, fun and gorgeous beach wedding. Thank you weather! I know Tina’s parents were very sad they couldn't be there but Terri made Maria and Alan in the UK feel so close, with family photos on the beach rocks and the surprise Zoom to England and tears of happiness and pure joy all around us in this such stunning location. From arranging a surprise young harpist to play on the beach, the most delicious vegan food options and all the recommendations to Tina for the Flowers, Cake, Make Up Artist, Hair Stylist, Photographer and Videographer were amazing and I would highly recommend every single person that helped on the day. As a celebrant Terri made everyone super relaxed with so many smiles from us all and even her dogs being part of the pre-wedding ceremony was special for us who love animals. Nothing was forgotten, correspondence exceptional and I would highly recommend Terri. Thank you so much Terri we feel blessed you welcomed us like family and made this very special for two people so in love and ready for their future adventures together after becoming husband and wife on the 5th of November 2020 in what seemed to us like the best place in the world XXX. BRIDES MUM & DADS REVIEW
What can I say but a great big thank you to Terri, my daughter Tina and her fiancé Mitchell got married on the 5th November, unfortunately we could not attend the wedding because we live in England, so although we were very happy for Tina and Mitchell we were also so sad to not be attending our only daughters special day.
Then I got a message from Terri asking us if we would like to do a Zoom call after the beach wedding as a surprise for Tina and Mitchell.
Well you can imagine our answer. Yes, please was all I could say. And the plans began. Terri set up the call and messaged me to say what time to be ready, New Zealand is 13 hours in front of England so timing was critical.
On the big day we sat ready and then the call came, we finally got to see the face of Terri grinning at me stood with Julie Mitchells mum. After the hellos they said they would shout Tina & Mitchell who were celebrating out on the veranda which overlooks the beautiful bay.
Tina came walking in and then saw me and her dad looking at her from the screen, we heard a gasp and then she ran to get Mitchell. She came to the screen and that was it my tears of joy started to flow.
We were there in every way possible chatting getting to see the flowers, cake, Tina’s dress, Mitchell looking so smart. It was the most special half hour we have spent in a very long time.
Our daughter’s wedding, she was now married and we had been allowed to be part of the day all thanks to Terri.
What can I say, Terri did not have to do this she just did, how amazing is that she made our day with no other motive apart from making Tina & Mitchell’s day special and perfect.
Again, I am sending Terri our grateful thanks for the kindness she has shown to us all. Thank you Terri.
