River Bank Wedding - Riwaka Resurgence

In New Zealand there is a freedom to be able to marry in pretty much any location that inspires you or holds a purpose to your union. The river bank is a place that symbolizes a fresh new beginning and yet it continues to flow from when you first connected into an unknown future of excitement and adventure. For the lovers of nature and heritage, the Riwaka Resurgence is one of the most breath taking river settings, with a Maori historic story. As you walk through the Maori carved archway the air becomes fresh and clean yet a little chilly. There is a definite feeling of fairy-lands among the friendly fantails and white chested kiwi robin, all approachable and welcoming.

The ceremony location is simply by the waters edge, to the natural tune as it cascade by among the wild bees. There is no need for fussy artificial decor, with the beauty of nature and bird song, however by adding a beautifully crafted celebration picnic and sparkling wine.

Your event planner will need the Department of Conservation permits for this location.
