Traditionally couples would have a parish wedding and leave immediately afterwards for a honeymoon. These days couples have more freedom and are looking for affordable alternatives to the exorbitant costs of a big white wedding, where many can’t even afford the honeymoon.

Our company have created easy ways for couples to combine both, either as an elopement; escaping on their own or what we call a micro wedding; which is literally a hand full of very close family members or friends who join them for the ceremony and take advantage of the location for their own holiday. The couple then remain in that location to enjoy a romantic few days within the culture and beauty of that area, while experiencing fun and exhilarating activities or simply relaxation. Some couples then go onto enjoy a further itinerary or road trip before returning home, where more often than not, they will celebrate again with a scaled down party affair inviting all their friends in Kiwi “bring a plate” style to share their photos and video, even wearing their wedding attire all over again.
