The Rainbow Ranges

If snow or tussocks are your things then the Rainbow Ranges, a private ski resort with council backing in the Tasman region close to St Arnaud. The resort is open all year for skiing or mountain biking and hiking. During late June to mid October there is snow popular with intrepid couples wanting to tie the knot or propose in the snow while spring and summer offer a great alpine wedding experience.

Weather and snow can be unpredictable, however we have experienced all kinds and still manage to enjoy an exciting day of festivities which can be combined with skiing for those who want too, or added a day later as part of your weddingmoon package.

There are several ceremony location settings that have incredible views down to Lake Rotoiti and into the valley. This is a full day experience by road or half day by helicopter. Please contact us for further discussion
