Split Apple Rock
Tokangawhā or as it is more commonly known Split Apple Rock is a geological rock formation, close to the Abel Tasman National Park. Made of granite from the cretaceous, it is in the shape of an apple which has been cut in half, nestled on a bed of rocks and carresed by the sea only meters from a golden beach with hints of magnetic black sand.
This iconic and natural phenomenon is a popular stop off for tourists heading into the Abel Tasman and tide dependent for great photos, which we will advise you on. We know the times of day to get the best and exclusive experience for our couples. This can be combined with a short scenic charter around Adele and Fishermans island at the south end of the Abel Tasman National Park, where a picnic can also be enjoyed.
Recommended Upgrades: Hair & makeup, styling, video, accommodation (Plan B) and any further add on, will be subject to availability and charges.
