The Story

Damien and Roxanne travelled from France to New Zealand to follow their dream to marry in a National Park in New Zealand, most of their travel plans were arranged by an Inbound Tour Operator but the task of planning their elopement day was given to The Dream Maker. The Nelson & Tasman region is known for its high sunshine hours and can be incredibly beautiful and much quieter in the winter, however this wasn’t our couples reasons for picking a mid winter wedding. Roxanne wasn’t really prepared for the cold but fortunately I was, and warm blankets, shoulder wrap, hot soup and water bottles were on hand to keep them cozy.

Their intimate elopement ceremony took place on Te Pukatea beach in the Abel Tasman National Park . They enjoyed their wedding dinner and cake cutting at Shoreline in Kaiteriteri by an open fireside.
